Madagascar Tree Boas

Posted by Sam Fredericks at 8/27/2017 8:19:32 PM

What can anyone tell me about these beauties. A buddy of mine is interested in getting into tree boas. What tips does anyone have? Anyone working with them? What price are they going for? Any information is appreciated!

Is he looking for the greens or mandarins?

I don't think he has much of a preference. Whats the difference beyond color and pattern any?

Care-wise they are the same. Both phases are difficult to find these days, but the green-phase is near impossible. Only know of one guy that has produced a couple litters, and I think that was in 2013 and 2011. A few people, including myself have produced Mandarins in the last few years, but I haven't been able to repeat.  Jeff Murray is one that seems to have produced more Mandarins than others.

They are tree boas from Madagascar. Glad I could help.
