Maybe "retirement" is a bit dramatic, but it is fairly accurate. I'm cutting my collection down to pets. I stopped acquiring new animals several years ago, and intentionally stopped breeding three years ago. I've made arrangements to transfer my remaining Chondros to my friend Charlotte, who will do very well by them. I wish her the very best and thank her for taking on the group. I made so many friends because of the herp community and I gained a mountain of knowledge from the years of keeping. I'm grateful to have been a part of what I think of as the golden age of Chondros. These animals certainly gave me more than I ever have them. It's just time to move on and time to clean out the snake room. Thank you everyone, it's been a pleasure. I'll still be around, contact me if I can ever be of help :)
