The big move

Posted by Steve Ussrey at 11/19/2011 10:22:12 AM

I had to move out of state to New York and unfortunately had to sell most of my snakes. I sold all my ball pythons and most of my GTP's the selling of the chondro's about killed me. I had most of them 12 plus years. So Im now down to one chondro (sad day). Plan is to have a house next year and start building chondro collection back up. Im gonna have to find some New York Chondroheads.

Nevermind.  I just saw it on your profile.  You're about 100 miles west of us.

Check out these guys.  I'm sure you can find some Chondroheads out that way through them:

Damn you guys are getting a 6-7 ft snow?  I hate it when it snows too much, sometimes it's fun, but not when you have to go to work it sucks.  Sorry about your snake collection, but I wish you the best building it back up.

ugh. i wish it would show here instead of making a slushie and black ice. It is so cold here but rarely snows...just rain. I came to Washington state from central Alabama and before that southern Mississippi and Arizona. I feel your pain! You will adjust and adap! Good luck!

Good luck to you. Sorry about your snakes. Both of my girls were born in Jacksonville, husband was stationed at Mayport.
Micheal- is that normal for NY? I'm kind of jealous, we have no snow yet.

I am from the area he is in.  I was right between Niagra falls and Buffalo.  And yes, that much snow and more is possible.  There is a lot of lake front snow from the Great Lakes.  I remember there being enough snow me and my brother could climb the snow drifts and get on top of the house.  Lots and lots of snow!  I miss it soooo much, nothing in La. but an occasional dusting of snow, melts in a couple hours.  And thats maybe every 2-3 years.
