IJs

Recently took  some updated shots of my pair and thought I'd share...

Both were produced by Black Bauer from MPenn animals.

First in my 2009 female:

Next is my 2010 male - I got so many fun tongue shots of him. LaughingTongue out

Hope you enjoyed!

Beautiful IJ's! My first Carpet was an IJ.  I love them! :)

Awesome, and I love that last one...lol  I can never seem to catch any flicking action when I am trying to get a pic of mine.  They would rather run from the camera.  I swear they will turn their head away, camera shy I guess..lol

What beauties...I've been kinda the closet IJ fan for several years, they're beautiful snakes.

Beautiful Sonja! You take some great photos!!! And yes, love the tongue shots!!

It's so good to see pics of your animals. Knowing your collection is thriving and steadily growing!! I know you've a long way to go, but I'm very envious of your group!!! Now you just need more Chondros!!

That is a lovely group. You take excellent photos, Sonja; it's always a pleasure to scroll through one of your blogs.

+1, gfx. I've quietly become an admirer of the subspecies, thanks to examples like these!

Julie needs an IJ or three....all the cool kids have them ;)

Yes, Heather, I'm hoping to see something of the IJ persuasion that catches my eye before too much longer. I'll blame it on peer pressure, I've always wanted to be one of the cool kids. ;)

You can staple them to branches like corn snakes, right?

You can staple anything to branches, Julie.

I'll keep that in mind for the next chondrofest. Anything.

You may not need to Julie, a few of mine like to show their inner Chondro & perch ;)

I owe you anyways. :)

Syran wrap would be less painful. Just sayin..

Peer pressure, I will get you to add a few IJ's. :D

Simply beautiful! I bet it's like taking pictures of my daughter! Take 20 keep 1 lol

I used to have Irian Jaya's, but decided to focus on just the corns, balls, hogs, and cresties for now, but IJ's are my favorite of the Carpets!

Thanks all!

LOL... Julie, I'm so glad my pictures inspired you to come out of the IJ liking "closet"
