if i breed my anery type b (charcoal) to an amel wot morph offspring would i get?,
i've been told that i could produce blizards.

Youll produce babies that are het for blizzard.

Nate is right.  Since both morphs you are talking about are recessive, if you cross an anery type b to an amel, all the babies would look normal, but would also be double het for blizzard.

If your goal is to produce blizzards, your best bet would be to get your hands on an anery het amel and an amel het anery to breed to each other.  Such a breeding would give you roughly:
25% normal-looking double hets for blizzard
25% anery het amel
25% amel het anery
25% blizzard

a double het X double het cross would make:
1/16 Normal
2/16 het amel (normal-looking)
1/16 amel (not het anery)
2/16 het anery (normal-looking)
4/16 double hets (normal-looking)
2/16 amel het anery
1/16 anery (not het amel)
2/16 anery het amel
1/16 blizzard

...a double het cross will cost you less to make, but create a lot of normal-looking babies that may be very difficult to sell, and at best, cause you a lot of confusion over how to market them properly.  However, with the animals you mentioned breeding to each other, while they would produce all normal-looking offspring, you would know every one of them is a doub;e het (a LOT less confusing!!)

Just a note on Amarilrose's comment, it would be anery b (Charcoal) het amel, and an amel het anery b. If it was an anery a, you'd produce snows, not blizzards.

I was actually in a hurry when I wrote the above post.  I should mention that the pecentages and fractions I listed are what you would statistically expect to find.  "Long odds" on any given clutch are not impossible.  A double het X double het breeding stands just as much of a chance of producing normals that aren't het for anything as it does to produce a blizzard (or any other applicable double recessive morph).  If you haven't taken a course on statistics yet, I really suggest you do -- and if you're long out of school, find an online course or a community college course to dabble in; when we talk about all these different morphs and what breedings produce what babies, a lot of people forget what those numbers really mean.

The best way I can explain the statistics thing is that if you were to make 100 breedings/crosses with animals of the SAME genetic make up (same morph anyway in this case), you would expect the average true genotypes of the babies produced from all 100 breedings to be proportioned roughly in line with the percentages and fractions I listed.

When you talk about a particular clutch, or a particular breeding, EACH egg (or baby) has the SAME odds to be any of the possible morphs you could produce based upon what the parents are.

...and as far as the anery type b versus anery type a, I haven't owned a Corn Snake in about 10 years; if you told me there was a 'lucky charms' corn morph with all the colors of the rainbow, I might believe you, maybe, if you could also coherently tell me how it is inherited (then show me the animals) -- my point being that I don't know Corns anymore, but I know genetics and statistics quite well.  I did mention "anery type b" at the start of my first post, just left it out later to try and save some time.  Sorry for that.
