Q: Is this normal for male boas?

This may be nothing or it may be something. I have never had a male boa before, or a male snake for that matter.  And I pulled him out to handle him the other day and noticed that the skin covering his privates was pretty red, it's look a little less red now but it hasn't gone away and I was wondering if it is normal or if I should take him to the vet.  He's about 70 days old, columbian boa.

No problem!! Always better to ask questions than make assumptions :)  Now... if you'd asked about ball pythons, I wouldn't have a clue ;)  Congrats on the beautiful baby!
