Anyone know why this is happening?

I recall someone in the past having issues when trying to upload from an iPad. Are you trying from a tablet?

It happens with our Aussie users a lot.

lol, George.

My phone sometimes actually takes pictures upside down... Have you checked in your Photos app whether they are showing upside down there as well?  I can use rotate on my phone to fix mine.

I use an ipad. Happens to me all the time. No idea why.

sometimes if you open the photo in windows picture viewer and turn it, then close (and sometimes have to open and close again to confirm it's orientation) then it will upload correctly. It's usually an issue with the uploader reading the encoded format of the photo which saves the sideways or upside down orientation the photo was taken/captured with). Hope that makes sense. I say to use the windows picture viewer because even opening in paint flipping and flipping back does not change what is encoded but for some reason the viewer will fix it. hope that works for you

Haha George that's hilarious!

I am using my samsung galaxy.  I discovered that if I open the photo in photo editor pro and rotate the photo 180 degrees and save, and then rotate it back to right side up and save, they will upload on iherp correctly.  Not sure what the issue is, but at least I can upload them now.

Just read April's post, that appears to be what is happening...

If i open the photo gallery on my samsung and rotate the photo, then rotate back, the photos still upload upside down. This needs to be done in photo editor pro for it to work, for those with samsung galaxy phones.

I have an S5 but I dont use anything but a PC to access the interwebs. I still connect my phone to said PC via USB, transfer and upload. I'm old school. MY PHONE IS NOT A COMPUTER.
