Atheris Photo Session

Posted by Thomas at 1/2/2019 12:02:24 PM

Holidays are for food, family, and photography. I took a few minutes yesterday to snap a few shots of the African bush vipers (Atheris squamigera). I acquired two of these as neonates in March 2016, and they have since grown to become beautiful young adults. The third one was an adult LTC male that was given to me for being meaner than hell. Happy 2019!

CB2016 female.

CB2016 male. After striking in protest of the pictures being taken, he caught a piece of substrate in his mouth, which I didn't notice until after the photo session...Sealed

When you're trying to look tough, but have something stuck in your teeth...Foot in mouth

LTC male. Given to me for being a mean little sh!t.

Same LTC male. Locked and loaded.
