Leopard gecko eggs

Posted by Lauren at 10/13/2020 2:49:07 PM

I finally got a nice looking pair of eggs from my female leopard gecko. I've never tried hatching any of her eggs before, mostly because by the time I find them, they're dried up. This time, I noticed she looked pretty heavy a couple days in advance and stuffed one of her hides with damp moss. She laid the eggs there perfectly.

I don't have an incubator, so I put them into an empty snake rack bin. Should be about 85* in there, and I'll see what they do. Having hatched cresties and a couple other arboreal gecko species, it sure is odd seeing such big eggs!
