WOW! Those are some awesome photos, thanks for taking the time to upload them for us. Those scaleless Texas rat snakes(?) are BEAST!!!!!!!

Sonja K. ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 8:57:08 PM

I just went back and counted... only 20% of those pics were of BPs... wouldn't that be cool if that was the percent at the actual show!?

Posted At: 10/16/2012 8:59:02 PM

Awesome pics. It was a very awesome show, was it not. That show is now the reason that I want a leachie. Heh. Time to save up about 400 bucks for the march show. Hehe

Andrea ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:11:44 PM

To be honest, as much as I missed everyone, I'm so glad I didn't go. Too many things I would come home with, but I need a house before more snakes.

LOVE that hypo albino house snake! I will get some house snakes after I buy a day!

Awesome pics! Can't wait until I can go back!

Also, your pics of retics kinda make me want one. But probably just a super dwarf to start.

Aaron Florian,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:22:41 PM

What a great show!!! And your photos are awesome. You've just saved me a ton of time, because I have a lot of the same animals :)

And yeah, there were too many ball pythons there... it was hard to find all the gems, but makes it fun I guess :)

Thanks Sonja!!!

Michael ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:28:50 PM

Very Cool  I love the crazy retics !!

Where is my middle finger pic, anyone?!

Rebecca ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:33:44 PM

eeeeek!!  I forgot you'd told me there were Maddies there!  you wouldn't remember who had them by chance?  I completely missed the Candoia!!

...and I thought you said you didn't get any pics of me, just my IJ??  LOL

ok, I gues that was that you didn't get any pics of you & I together  :P

Rebecca ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:34:51 PM

...oh, but you didn't get any pics of "Boom!" or "KaPow!"

i have a disease called awesomeness ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:43:10 PM

saw a cute lady pic in there..

hey babydoll (rebecca for those wondering)

Sonja K. ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:43:28 PM

(I didn't get a pic of a Leachie... how did I not?!)

Rebecca... Boas and Balls had the Maddies. PM Herps had the Candoia.

And, oh yes, Rebecca, I said that I got ones of you and your IJ - LOL - and you even gave me permission to post - LOL

Nate... I guess that one didn't turn out - but I included 2 Corn pics just for you.

There were definitely some neat looking Retics there.

Rebecca ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:45:41 PM

Sonja, we need to be better about getting pictures together.  I think the last time was 2009?

Rebecca ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:46:55 PM

(and no worries about the permissions!)

Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:47:10 PM

Those scaleless critters were neat. That Timor female of Luke's is really pretty, and you got a pic of Eddie IJ. Such a beautiful boy, that one.

And look, pix of me and 2 of my favorite hunky morelia men! It's good to be me! Good times and great friends, thanks for capturing that memory. :)

Lauren ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 9:51:59 PM

Wow! Love the morelia. I so wish I could have been there, hopefully next year.

Looks awesome!  I'm really bummed I wasn't able to make it out, but I'm hoping to make it there next year (as well)!  Looks like there needs to be more geckos represented. ;)

Thanks for sharing, as always!!

Kat ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 10:22:32 PM

Great pics!! Why is it I spent 2 days there and still enjoy looking through everyone's pictures? Oh that's right...nobody's bumping me out of the way!! :) It really was a great show!

George H. Wessel VII,

Finally! Now somebody post pics of Sonja!

The goldeneye blood is my fav so far.

Rebecca, Julie, I'm going to be tame about this. You two are gorgeous.

Posted At: 10/16/2012 11:22:12 PM

Thank you so much for sharing!! I really wish I could have gone, I need to sell my house soon, then I'll be unstoppable!

Rebecca ,

Hey y'all, just make sure you come to Tinley in March!!  The next show is St. Patrick's Day weekend again!!  :D

Jake ,
Posted At: 10/16/2012 11:30:19 PM

George, I couldn't agree more.

Between them, and that Tiger Stripe X Thong GTP... I've had to change my trousers multiple times.

Posted At: 10/17/2012 12:00:28 AM

Thanks for this Sonja! I didn't get to see many of those creatures, even though I made a few laps around the hall.

I'm glad you posted the picture of me trying to recover from Jeremy's nipple-twisting sabotage and not just the tame follow up.

Ah, memories. I ask again: is it March yet?

josh cole,
Posted At: 10/17/2012 12:02:45 AM

Wow looks like a crazy good show lol. Very nice pics. Did you come home with anything ?

Pope of iHerp and Bread,
Posted At: 10/17/2012 6:03:51 AM

The correct name for that GTP is Tiger Stripe X Rico's Thong. "Rico's" is the important part there. It's not nearly as funny without it.

Sonja ,
Posted At: 10/17/2012 7:34:39 AM

Great pics, Sonja!  I really enjoyed looking at them.  I like the Pirate Iggy and the smiling beardies.  Also, I'll take that baby ETB.  And maybe a chondro or two.....

Emily Milton,
Posted At: 10/17/2012 9:01:29 AM

I LOVE starting the morning with a photobomb!  Thanks Sonja!  Lovely pictures.

I've never really cared about morphs - just a healthy little snake - however... that firefly axanthic may have me reconsidering that....

George H. Wessel VII,
Posted At: 10/17/2012 9:02:35 AM

I need to see pics of iHerpers socializing outside of the show. Or does "what happens at Tinley stays at Tinley"?

Niki ,
Posted At: 10/17/2012 9:12:35 AM

The second snake even had my bf drooling. Is that a corn x king?

Glad to see a Pseustues poecilonotus caught your eye :D Super cool snakes.

My bf was drooling over the pics of the GTP while I was browsing. He loves the way their scales look digiprint. Then I showed him a picture of their teeth ;)

Aaron Florian,
Posted At: 10/17/2012 9:33:52 AM

Here you go, Nate.

Shannon ,

Great photos by the way, Sonja! It was great to meet you!

Sonja K. ,
Posted At: 10/20/2012 1:10:26 PM

Thanks everyone! Glad you enjoyed the pics! It was great to meet everyone that I did. Hard to believe one can look and still end up missing people.

(George...  you may be waiting for a really long time! To my knowledge, nobody took a pic of me... at least I didn't pose for any.)

Posted At: 10/20/2012 2:40:27 PM

I'm usually the photo-free gal, I tend to avoid it. I've seen more pix of myself from this Tinley as I've seen ever. Crazy.

I'm so glad there are people document our time together. It simply does not occur to me at any point during the weekend.

Sonja ,

I have pics of Sonja from her visit here.....

E.P.I.C on so many levels! Now this thread feels right. Like warm blueberry muffins with a dab of butter and a glass of milk. Thanks MD Sonja!

Sonja K. The heron pic. If we were together that setup would be in the bedroom. Just FYI.

this just makes me cry. I need to get up there next year, dammit. -- I want to swim in that pile of baby tegus (and, consequently, have my face eaten -  but well worth it, I'd say) - your pics are glorious, Sonja! - I'm living vicariously through all of you. Rebecccaaaaa what'd you name the baby IJCP?!?!?! (it's presh, for real)

George H. Wessel VII,
Posted At: 10/22/2012 9:15:50 PM

I'm with you Stephanie. I myself need to make the trip. Honestly, it isn't even about the animals. I just want to give everyone the pleasure/honor of saying that they met George meet some of my lovely iHerpers in person.

Andrea ,

Sonja K. ,

George... You have any Karo syrup for that blueberry muffin?!

And, while the Heron nest may have looked fun... I think the Oriole nest was better - LOL

Jeff ,

I know you do these photo bombs just to try and convince me to come down It's working lol. Love the photos, even the cornsnake ones lol. Awesome! and it is true I don't think I've seen so many pics of Julie before, here and on FB

Stephanie, I named him Flynn  ...and you need to stop hiding behind all these excuses!  mommy in town/I went to the fair/I'm busy. blah blah blah blah blah!

George, you need to make it to a Tinley show.  It's a fact.

Jeff, is it working yet??  Why have we not seen our fave Canasian at Tinley??

Posted At: 10/23/2012 2:07:44 PM

Stephanie Dobos,

Your wish is my command, my friend.

George, enjoy.

And, while I'm at it, here's Sonja with a fishy.

George H. Wessel VII,

Well my day is better!

Sonja K. ,
Posted At: 10/23/2012 4:19:14 PM

I recall reading that for some reason you respected me, George... Is that gone now?

Pope of iHerp and Bread,
Posted At: 10/23/2012 4:21:46 PM

I'm sure glad I temporarily stopped watching Jurrasic Park, easily one of the ten best movies of all time, to view these pictures of Sonja. But I still think the turtle is the best. A pole dancing turtle.

Sonja K. ,
Posted At: 10/23/2012 4:35:56 PM

I'm sending ducks!

Pope of iHerp and Bread,
Posted At: 10/23/2012 4:37:26 PM

Por que? The Shooot her thing? That's a line from JP. Everyone knows that. That silly raptor was eating that poor dude.

Sonja K. ,
Posted At: 10/23/2012 4:42:48 PM

Maaaybe... LOL... I haven't seen Jurrasic Park since it first came out on VHS... yes... that long ago... ; )

George H. Wessel VII,
Posted At: 10/23/2012 6:42:06 PM

Of course I do Sonja. More so than most pole dancers. Here .
