Woma in the Grass

Yesterday, I took some pics of "Ramsey", my 2001 male Woma Python, when I had him out playing in the grass - hope you enjoy them!  : )

I don't understand what it is... Womas always look weird to me... almost cartoonish :) I think it's the shape of their heads being so different, and the shading over the eyes. Gorgeous pictures and a gorgeous boy! :)

I thought they were odd looking as well...and then I saw and handled one in a snake shop in Gainesville...their small scales gives them a super smooth look and feel....it's really unlike the other species of python I've experienced....and they also lack a heat pit!  They also seem dramatically smarter than my other animals....

Their faces do look a little goofy by human standards, but I think they are beautiful snakes.  Great pics!
