R.I.P for my little ones.

Posted by Holly at 10/10/2011 2:51:25 AM

for some reason fate has decided it was not our time to own two beautiful baby bearded dragons.

Today is the day that the cruelty of the animal kingdom has claimed two young lives.

the lives of Baby and Hiemdall our finest and most prized younglings.

the only thing we know is that it was a horrible and painful way to go. we dont know who did it. the ferrets, or the kitten. we are 85% sure it was the ferrets, because of the blood type substance on their chins.

its a dangerous thing, falling in love with your business. fate works in cruel ways. like waiting for you to fall in love and then taking everything from you.

hope that they can stay alive in everyones thoughts, they certainly will in ours.

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss, baby dragons aren't easy to care for to begin with when they're really little.  It's terrible sometimes to have to live and learn, not sure what you were keeping them in, but with cats and ferrets, it might be a good idea to invest in a locked cage.

wait, i thought you said the cat did it? now the ferrets might have? :(

poor things, i thought they were doing ok friday. must have been something internal going on too, with their brains and such. because the rest of them looked ok

also brittany: someone at their house let the ferrets or cats in. they lock the cat out because he's known for messing with the herps. The ferrets i have no idea how that happened :/

we were coming home with a lock lid last night. and someone let eather the cat or the ferrets into the room. they are on a table so it hink it was the cat. all i know is the teeth marks make it very hard to just think they were ill.

wait, did they get attacked again?

wow i'm sorry for your loss. i have a seperate room for mine, because my cat would LOVE to "play" with my herps.

Laura:  Gotcha, that really is sad, cats are great, just not great with the reptiles, need a lock for that room only she can open I guess.
