About Nick Millichamp
My Reptile Interests
Mostly snakes and a few tortoises. Been keeping reptiles for about 45 years. Interested in reptile biology (especially physiology and vision). Rarely a field herper - more the armchair type of herpetologist - like to collect my animals at the airport cargo office!
Other Interests
Photography is one of my main interests and I apply this (especially photographing eyes) in working with reptiles. Have fun with Photoshop. Swim laps for exercise.
Mostly classical (and pop music of the 70's and 80's!) Play violin and piano badly!
Kill Bill
Veterinary ophthalmologist. I retired from The College of Veterinary Medicine, Texas A&M University in 2009 and now work in private specialty practices (Eye Care for Animals) in Houston, The Woodlands and College Station, Texas. I spend my time treating eye diseases in animals - mostly dogs, cats and horses, although I have a long time interest in exotics and have worked on many reptiles with eye problems over the last 30 years.
