About Dillon
My Reptile Interests
Roughly a decade of housing. Been field herping pretty much since I could walk, though haven't much in recent years due to graduate school. Currently keep an array of species- Eublepharis macularius composing most of my collection. Other species include Goniurosaurus hainanensis, Hemitheconyx caudicinctus, Correlophus ciliatus, Corallus hortulanus, Epicrates cenchria, and B.c.c.
Other Interests
I am an academic at heart. I try and milk as much significant/usable data from my husbandry and breedings as possible. I also enjoy helping to better educate fellow hobbyists on the biological concepts pertinent to keeping and breeding reptiles. I am a researcher, in the fields of development, molecular biology, genetics, and neuroscience. I study the progression and coordination of the development of the Central Nervous System, using Xenopus laevis as a model system. Aside from reptiles and academia, I love taking in nature, be it through hiking, camping, jogging,
