My Reptile Interests
|
|
My reptile interests include ball pythons, beauty rat snakes, California Kingsnakes, corn snakes, and hognose snakes. I'm a photographer and I also like to hike, so I incorporate my field herping adventures into those activities.

Other Interests

|
I enjoy capturing life on film, so photography is quite a passion of mine, second only to heavy metal. I am pretty active in my local metal scene, due to the photography and my boyfriend's career. I also enjoy comic books (I'm a Marvel girl, and my favorite is Thor) and manga, anime, video games, creative writing for both fiction and poetry, and animals. In warmer seasons, I try to spend as much time as I can outside out in the country.

I listen to many metal bands from all the sub-genres, but my favorites are Iron Maiden and Savatage. Most of my friends are involved in local bands, and I am privileged to attend many shows as a photographer for my boyfriend's Baltimore-based band, Aries.

Avatar, Cold Mountain, Contraband, Back to the Future, The Breakfast Club, Brokeback Mountain, Dan in Real Life, Dead Poet's Society, Eastern Promises, Elegy, the English Patient, Finding Nemo, Iron Man, The Irony of Fate (or Enjoy your Bath!), Labyrinth, Pan's Labyrinth, Last Chance Harvey, The Lives of Others, The Notebook, Pretty in Pink, Remember Me, Sixteen Candles, Spirited Away, Thor.
I love Anime, especially Fullmetal Alchemist, Gad Guard, .Hack//Sign, InuYasha, Witch Hunter Robin, and Wolf's Rain. I don't actively watch TV, preferring DVD series. Adventure Time, Arthur, The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones, Metalocalypse, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Regular Show, Roseanne, Red Dwarf, and Star Trek are favorites.

I am an undergraduate psychology/art double major at Hood College, and I also work for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a Customer Service Representative. Licht der Nacht Photography is still an infrequent freelance gig, but concerts and dedication are helping swell my profits.
