My Reptile Interests

Reptiles have been part of my family's household for most of the time that I was being reared in the context of my precociousness. Big brother always had some variety of reptiles around and I readily followed suit over the years. Have had numerous boids over the past six years or so, but really decided to settle on Carpet pythons within the past few years. The Morelia spilota world is wonderfully varied and downright amazing. Hope to one day again work with the Liasis family.

If I wasn't collecting and working with reptiles, I would be certainly dumping a lot of my time and money into antiquarian books and other literary collectibles; my own book store is my dream vocational niche! Francis Bacon. 1001journals.com. DIY and underground art. Collaborative art. Goodreads.com. Drum Corp International. North Carolina Tarheel's Basketball. And long, long conversations over far too much alcohol. Silence. Anywhere that is not New Jersey. Small town americana.

My musical inclinations lean all over the place and I could list an endless list of influences upon my life. But a few of my 'near and dears' and 'can't be withouts': Slowdive, Morrissey, Catherine Wheel, Chamberlain, Red House Painters, Gustave Mahler.

I like really boring and slow art-house movies, as well as my share of sappy cheese on the side. All of life is a balance in moderation!
