Welcome : How You Can Help

4/9/2008, 3:13AM: It was the best of times...

Let me start by saying that the positive comments that people have sent me are through the roof. It's energizing, and kind of humbling at the same time. So thank you.

Right now, the biggest thing that you could do to help out this site is to keep at it and keep kicking the tires. Feel free to go in and try to break stuff. Let me know anything I've missed. Let me know what you love, what you hate, and what you'd like to see this do that it doesn't. I love praise, and strangely, I'm actually enjoying the constructive criticism. Go figure.

I've got a gazillion ideas of what I want this to do, but there are little things that I might miss. I'm predominantly a Chondro guy, and I know minimally what type of things that would help someone who only does turtles for instance. I've been keeping reptiles for (EDITORS NOTE: length of time stricken due to realizing I'm getting old) years, but I've been keeping them "MY" way. This site is more than just "my way", I want it to be your way too.

The other thing that would help out is that if you like the site, and you see the potential for this, go ahead and tell your friends, link it on boards, whatever. Realistically, the more people we get into the system, the more animals we get into the system, the better we can see how we can make all of this data really dance. More dance = more cowbell = better site.

Remember, this is version 1.0 for the most part, and from here on in, it only gets better. And it gets REALLY better with your help.

Thanks again,

Aaron
