My cat brought this little fellow/fella to me early this evening. Appeared very, very young, 7-8 inches, not aggressive. I released him near some rocks and water where he/she can take cover and hunt. Can anyone confirm an identification? I've been told everything from diamondback rattler, to garter snake to southern water snake. Whatever it is, I have around a dozen of them as new neighbors - cohabitants here.
