This kid hatched around 12pm noon on 5/27/2018. Outside it was a high of 74 degrees F. but inside due to a dryer going it had gotten to 83 degrees F. The incubator was at 83 as well, but for the rest of its incubation it was at 81 degrees F. At first it displayed the cherry and ruby red coloring we were expecting, but it began to fire down plus begin to shed so the colors are muted in the photos taken later in the day.
The darkness and vibrancy of red in this baby is not the norm for this pairing. This would be considered a cherry or ruby red.
