These are (I believe) southern White lipped Pythons also known as the “Black phase” White Lipped Pythons are somewhat rare in captivity and are rarely offered for sale in the Northwest area . While I believe they are black phase I cannot 100% guarantee it ( not even my vet Dr. Maas knew for sure) They are totally hand-tame, never strike except for food which they gobble up voraciously. These pythons will get to be 7- 9 feet and the amount of iridescence on this snake rivals that of any rainbow boa. The pics seem to be gold, but the camera flash causes this in both sub species. When you see them live they are iridescent grey-black.
