Hey there! I saw your message on my page and thought I'd say hello! I absolutely love this gecko and can't wait to see what he looks like all grown up! I've been experimenting with indoor lighting lately, since sometimes nighttime is just the best time for me to get the camera out. Plus, if I have to rely on good gecko weather to get nice pictures, that eliminates about 70% of the entire year! So far, I'm really enjoying the 5000k (that's color temperature, if you're not familiar) fluorescent tubes I'm trying out right now. The only trouble is that the light dims quickly with distance, so I have to keep the lights pretty close to the animals to get them properly lit. The upside is that the color of the light is the best I've yet tried for my camera and the lights are not hot, so I don't have to worry about the environment getting too hot for the geckos during the shoot. I'll post some pictures when I get everything right. I need to put together a nice outdoorsy prop set and practice some more with that. My hope is that once it is all set up right, you won't be able to tell the difference between my indoor and outdoor shots!
