I remember when discovery channel had a clip of a Mexican Cantil cadual luring a frog with its tail. These things are just plain awesome just like Eyelash Vipers are!

Agkistron bilineatus is Central America's version of the cottonmouth. They tend to darken a lot. I was hoping to get a hypo taylori, but this girl came up. She's a bilineatus bilineatus. Parents were both coal black but she is much lighter than the rest of the litter. I'm hoping she'll keep some of the pattern as she gets older.

Wow - beautiful snake. I don't have any experience with venomous, but when I saw your picture go up in the new animal area I had to click on her and learn more - haha. The lines on the face are just awesome!
