He is a Vietnamese fat tailed skink, Riopa corpulenta (lygosoma corpulentum). I have two right now that are babies that I got from Steve Cemelli from Leapin Leechies. I believe he may be the only person that has a breeding pair in the states. They are super cute and very curious! Their heads are about the size of a 1/4in cricket now but they look right at you and spend time checking you out. Everyone who sees them thinks they are newts. They will get bigger and become more golden in color. Really excited to see how they grow!
