I agree that they are much more racer-like that rat-like. I've always been curious about the name choice myself. They are beautiful nonetheless and being a rescue makes it even better! I'd love to see some more pictures!

i know the genus and species, theres a decent amount of debate on common name. i just happen to agree with the tree racer name, cuz they remind me much more of any racer, than any ratsnake:) but appreciate the help either way always welcome :)

It's not a racer, it's a red tail green ratsnake :) Gonyosoma oxycephala.
