Species:	Whitetail Lancehead Bothrops leucurus
Sex:	Male
Comments:	Bothrops leucurus was first described as Bothrops megaera by Wagler (1824), before being renamed as Bothrops leucurus by the same author. The type locality is Bahía, Brazil, and it is found along the eastern parts of that country. I've worked with this species a couple of times before, but they have not been available in the U.S. trade in a few years. I recently received a reverse trio of neonates that I'm looking forward to raise. If my luck with this genus holds, then you may see a litter of offspring by 2015/2016...
