Comments:	Deinagkistrodon acutus is probably my favorite species of pitviper. I used to maintain a colony of 24 specimens, including five different bloodlines. I managed to breed them a couple of times, and cannot wait to get back into working with this species. I acquired this specimen as part of a pair from Erik Kesley, who received them as captive-hatched animals that originated from the town of Xiangxi, China.
