Species:	Black Tree Monitor Varanus beccarii
Sex:	Male
Comments:	Adult male, rescued in November 2013 by a local herp group. He was extremely malnurished and the female he was with did not survive. After a few months of TLC I adopted him. He is still thin but seems to have a good appetite so far. Very skittish, and a year in my care has not done much to improve his temperament.

Lucky! Glad to see he ended up in good hands. Extremely sad to see someone must have done poor research &/or overfaced themselves with this species :(
