Yes it is illegal in my state too. I have special permits. I am with a rescue and removal and educational organization. We work a lot with animal control and Fish and Wildlife. Many of my animals have come from removal and rescues. He will get a lot bigger, average size is 13 feet. They can get to 19 or even 20 feet in rare cases. He is trained fairly well. He has been trained to back up when approached and he does. He also is shown and told about at many many places here in Oklahoma. He is a well known alligator and is very popular here.
