Comments:	Male Pastel Ball Python with a long striped spot at the base of his head. My daughter named him Elmo because his tank mate was named after Cookie Monster. We had convinced Mama to let us have Ball Pythons, finally. We had our fancy snakes we ordered over the internet on the way, and would arrive the next day, so we had to go to Petco. We saw these two triangle shaped baby Ball Pythons (they get that way when they are in desperate need of food), and we asked one of the employees if they were okay. He told us that they were hungry, because the last few months of rodents intended for in-house feeding had not come in. We asked why they didn't just get a pinkie from the "for sale" freezer to keep them from starving. We were told it was "company policy". After a "discussion" with the store manager, we left with 2 supposedly pastel (they didn't look pastel at the time) we left with both of them at half of their already "reduced because they looked like they were in bad condition" price. We fed them when we arrived home, and they have done very well. They even lightened up and started looking like pastels! Elmo is a pretty boy, and we are looking forward to seeing how his babies turn out. Technically, Elmo is my daughters pet, along with Cookie (his Petco tank-mate), Ruby (pastel Ball Python), Moose (pinstripe Ball Python), Morrigan (grey Anerythristic Corn snake), and Pyewhacket (black cat).
