Comments:	Xena is a beautiful, pastel boa who came to us already sweet as can be as a ~3 year old. She is a rockstar science outreach snake who patiently handles both small children and first time volunteer scientists. She'll eat anything offered and is our 'garbage disposal' for any prey item refusals. As to her classification.. Boa constrictor imperator is a motley group of snakes - we'll continue to call Xena "Boa constrictor imperator" and "Columbian red tailed boa" until better genetics data can provide a detailed phylogeny of all these beautiful, diverse S. American snakes.
