Comments:	-October 1, 2025 Update. As a third of her babies from the 2025 clutch also have kinks (Only spotted one badly kinked early on the other two are barely noticeable unless you hold them tight to check) AND her first clutch was so bad I'm deciding to sell her as PET ONLY. I'm starting to think that Casper or Ares were from the old lavender line that had Aberrant neck patterns which also produced a number of kinked offspring. You can take a chance and breed her if you want but I'd rather her go to a pet only home. -Like her mother and father Casper and Apollo who regularly produced aberrant/Aztec/zipper corns, this girls 2025 clutch hatched low quality aberrant corns. I think she is a low grade aberrant corn herself though it only shows in the side neck pattern. All 100% of her babies have low expression aberrant neck pattern with one also exhibiting dorsal pattern. -Update on this female she finished laying her second 2025 clutch of 10 for me today August 14th. Her first clutch is due to start hatching in a little over a week out. She's definitely lean looking like a deflated tire right now. -needs updated weight and length as of 9/25/2022. She is now a proven breeder. Body condition after laying eggs came out better than the larger half sibling female this year. -3'2" and 201 grams as of 4/3/2021 -Probed female as of 3/16/2021 -3'0" and 154 grams as of 8/23/2020 -2'0" and 43 grams as of 6/16/2019 -1' 7" and 24 grams as of 3/24/2019 -11" and 6 grams as of 7/6/2018 Normal het anery and hypo. -FOR SALE- Asking $50.00 not including shipping. Normal corn snake het for anery and hypo. Sire is Ares and dam is Casper. Pairing was Normal to a Ghost, and both parents came from bloodlines over 20 to 25 years ago. We want people aware of this for our old bloodline relating to Ares and Casper stuff. Just be aware of this as we have not proven things out completely yet. Ares never produced kinked offspring. Casper produced only one kinked offspring that I know of, and it WASN'T when she was paired to Ares. Casper's daughter, Zeenon and Caspario's full sister, also produced kinked babies in about a quarter of her clutch. Things to take away from this is that any kinked babies should be hard or soft culled. Babies without kinks can be bred but must be outcrossed to try to breed out the problem gene. Just like how lavenders were. Ares and Casper age wise do line up with when kinks were still coming out of lavender based stuff. We believe it MIGHT be related. We think the aberrant thing is potentially an incomplete dominant trait while the kinked trait is recessive based off of our three generations so far. We will be trying to keep the aberrant trait and breed out the kink trait.
