Animal Name: Cruda Natura
Reference Code: TCCN-0016CC-G
Species: Crested Gecko
Correlophus ciliatus
Sex: Female
Morph: Solid Olive/dark based gecko with dal spots.
Birthdate: 9/4/2018
Comments: -No longer with us as she didn't fit into future breeding plans-

Now that she's laid eggs we are 100%sure female.So she's named Cruda (Croo-duh). 10/20/2019

6/16/2019- 23 grams

6/14/2019- All rounds of protozoan dewormer are finished. Still need to pore sex. Out of fenbendazole for roundworm deworming so I need to buy some more when I can. However no signs or issues with health.

5/12/2019- First round of protozoan dewormer is completed. Will pore sex after some roundworm deworming is done, however is looking female.

This kid was bred by Green Stuff Exotics from two dark unnamed parents. Parent photos will be in the album. Should fire up a solid dark.

Potential names for female Natura, Cruda, Acerba and male Acerbus or Vireo.

This gecko will likely end up as a display gecko if it retains its green coloring and does not darken up with age. We've decided this because most of the wild cresty images taken in New Caledonia had green solid, bicolor, or brownish green brindle geckos living in the wild. So when we do educational programs this gecko is the best we can show of what they would look like in the wild.

-THIS IS A BREEDER-
He/She will only be bred when we find a very good mate with big long crests to pair it with. Otherwise it is a display animal.

Things we are looking for in our geckos...

-big head
-big crests
-wide back/dorsal stripe
-bright coloring
-lots of dalmatian spots
-no dalmatian spots
-no under bite
-no crocodile snout
-feeding well
-good personality

This gecko has the following...

-Really big wide head :D
-Horrible cresting, nearly bald :(
-Olive coloring, may turn dark
-lots of small dalmatian spots
-no under bite
-No crocodile snout, but has really thick jaws for some reason
-feeding well
-Can't tell about personality yet

Most breeders and keepers would label this as a pet quality gecko only and make sure it isn't bred because of all of it's negative traits. However considering its parents good cresting and lineage we will probably try a test breeding to a good partner and see what we get before deciding if it is a lost cause and labeling a pet only.
