Animal Name: Midori
Species: Madagascar Day Gecko
Phelsuma madagascariensis madagascariensis
Sex: Female
Comments: Midori was produced by Darren Meyer of Driftwood frogs in 02/09, and bought as a juvie at FrogFest in May of that year.

Midori died about 2 days after moving to the new location. she was mid-shed during the upheaval and I think the stress may have been a contributing factor, but also I found out very soon after moving in that the water in the new house was TERRIBLE.

She is gorgeous! Very unique. Are you sure she's mad mad? I mean she's obviously not grandis, but I believe there are a few other subspecies. She is beautiful regardless. -p-

thanks. I need some updated pics, the DG gals have lost baby stripes and are darn near at adult coloration as they approach maturity. they're a fun species to keep!
