Comments:	Bought at a reptile show a couple years ago. All black except for a tiny white spot under her chin. Got her and an unrelated male for $80 for the pair. The male got the notion that eating was bad and did not survive. Nyx has no such ideas. Eating is good. She started out a bit bitey, but has mellowed a LOT with age and is now calm and easy to handle. Developed a problem in fall 2010 with her right eye that ended up with our herp vet saying it might be a messed up duct. It never did straighten out, but never got horribly infected in a dangerous way. After several sheds in close succession and several vet visits, we're guessing her body gave up on it, and she quit growing an eyescale on that side, which resulted in her losing the eye, naturally. She is otherwise healthy and the vet has decided that since it's healed fine on it's own, nothing needs to be done to it. She still eats fine and has the same calm attitude. You just have to bring the food in slow from her left if you want her to hit it on the first try. As the vet doubts that the duct is a issue likely to be genetic, I still plan on breeding her when she gets a little bit bigger.
