Comments:	Caught while newly gravid, gave birth in September 09, 16 offspring, 12 live, 4 found dead in her cage. Rest removed to their own cage as soon as they were discovered. Three are still alive as of 9/20/09, only one has been convinced to eat (A small slice of slug). Gaia did her post birthing shed on Sept 18, and seems very healthy, eating well. (Slugs & Earthworms) 9/26/09- Sadly, none of the babies have been convinced that being alive is a good idea. Hopefully, I can get my slugs to breed and find a male to try this again next year. EDIT: Died early spring this year (2010.) Based on length measured, it was probably of old age, as she was near 15 inches long, and her species normal maximum is generally listed as 8 to 10 inches.
