Comments:	Cortana (named by my Halo obsessed boyfriend) is a young (roughly 7 month old) veiled chameleon rescued by us this year. She was bought by a friend of mine along with a male from the same batch which, after a while, started bullying her and trying to dominate her with sad consequences. Cortana lost about an inch off of her tail due to fleeing from her brother and burning it on a heat lamp that was wrongly placed by her previous owners. She has recovered fully from her injury, the dead bit of tail dropped off shortly after her arrival with us and she has learned how to cope with limited prehensile ability of her tail. She was handled a lot as a baby and as a result is much tamer than your average veiled. I think she may have been somewhat overfed by her previous owners as she has a voracious appetite and I believe her to be currently ovulating as a result of such plentiful food intake even though she is still young. We are regulating her food intake and are doing our utmost to ensure she has everything she needs in order to try to avoid egg binding. Stressful times!

I wish I could help you with your Yemens. I don't know all that much about breeding them and I've never owned a pair, only single ones. Good luck with them. Very interesting reading what they are doing though...
