Comments:	The plan was to get a ball python for Christmas, but then I got grounded for six months because i didn't practice my piano or keep my room clean. So then I changed my mind and wanted to get a jungle carpet python, and now I am into the field of herpetology, and plan to be a herpetologist when I grow up.

yeah, i guess he's about 2 or 2.5 years. males have been bred earlier than that. so i guess you can call him an adult. sorry to hear about the trouble switching him. that's a common problem with carpets. some do, some don't. some are just really hard to switch. try getting a live rat pinky and put it in the cage overnite.
