No - they are for the most part docile. #1 has struck at me, but did not actually attempt to bite - bluff. #4 did bite me once. #2 is very high strung, putting the lid on his tub has to be done extremely cautiously as it constantly tries to bolt out of it. But generally - they are pretty mellow. Lot of tail rattling though.
