Comments:	Came out on day 54 incubated at 89F. This guy had a very rough start - came out of the egg with a bunch of yolk attached, so I set him up in a deli cup and put him back in the incubator so he could absorb. He didn't, and hours later I found him completely limp and upside-down. I tied the yolk off and was about to put him in the freezer as I thought he was dead. He wasn't breathing at all, there wasn't any sign of life - or so I thought. I had half the mind to check for a heartbeat and there it was, very faint and weak but there. I gave this little guy mouth-to-mouth and palpated the air back out of him for 15-20 minutes, which is when he finally started taking small breaths of his own. I tube-fed him a couple cc's of chicken yolk and put him back into the incubator. He couldn't move at all for a few hours, but after a while he got some strength from the yolk. Now he's a perfect little baby, you'd never guess he had a rough start. He's a champ of a feeder and has a great attitude :) He has caught up with all of his siblings and has also already accepted f/t.

So glad to hear he's doing well!!! In 07, I had a clutch of 10 hatch out, 9 of them being in the 52-56gram range, but one came out at 27. I didn't think he'd make it, but he ended up being my strongest feeder and did SO well! I have faith this one will be just fine :-)
