Comments:	Deinagkistrodon acutus is probably my favorite species of pitviper. I used to maintain a colony of 24 specimens, including five different bloodlines. I managed to breed them a couple of times, and cannot wait to get back into working with this species. I acquired this specimen from Jared Watts in October 2011, and it hopefully marks the beginning of another rewarding Deinagkistrodon era. She was produced by Matt Crews, and is a particularly grumpy specimen. Certainly not a people's person!
