Comments:	The man who started it all!! Maka was my very first crested gecko, given to me as an anniversary gift. Knowing how much I love reptiles, my hubby thought he would score some huge brownie points with a gift like Maka. If he knew then, what he knows now, I wonder if he might have just dropped the dime & gotten me something shiny instead!! Back when Maka came into our lives, people didn't keep the same sort of records of hatch dates and lineage as they do today. I have no idea what his origin is, except that he was produced by another hobbyist in Burbank, CA and sold to a local mom and pop reptile shop for resale. Hatch date is also a mystery, though we know it was sometime in 2001.
