It's a hypo boa. (Common Northern Boa, morph, Hypomelanistic (Hypo) I think maturity plays a larger role than weight. How old is the male? I have had my best success with males that are 3 or older, but did have a successful breeding with a 2 year old male last season. Pairing him with your normal should give you 50% normal and 50% Hypos, unless he is a super hypo, but that's not something that can be known just visually - at least not with any certainty. IF it were to prove out as a Super (would have had to come from the pairing of 2 hypos, for example, and then it would be a 66% chance) then all the babies would be hypos. How old is your female? Recommended first breeding you'd want her to be 4 yrs and 10 or more pounds. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have other questions. Thanks much!
