Oh no! I had no idea that was a ratsnake when I saw the thumbnail in the "our newest animals" column (and NA rats are some of my favorite snakes). Good luck getting him back in shape. American ratsnakes are brutally tough and extremely resilient animals. Keep those injuries clean and swabbed with betadine, and he should recover. -p-
