Comments:	Described by Kara as the "weird het albino", Chip has been known to be a ladies' snake. No clutches have been sired by him, but we haven't given up yet! Chip has had a bump on his nose for the past several months. It is unclear what has caused the swelling. It seems mostly benign until it is messed with, at which point it fails to secrete fluid but expands the area of the swelling rapidly. Overall, it reminds me strongly of a situation described on BP.net where a snake has similar facial swelling that is only made worse by attempts to treat and drain, and it eventually gets so bad that the snake has to be euthanized. It is for this reason that i hesitate to mess with Chip - he shows no signs of mouth-rot or anything, and is otherwise in perfect health: eating, shedding, defecating normally. Updates will be posted if anything transpires. Obviously a close eye is on him to make sure his condition remains as stable as it is now.
