They are illegal here so it is doubtful that I would see one any other way. I would not want to handle one at a show, but just seeing it in person would be cool. You are very lucky!

Reading your comment about free handling her, I had always been under the impression that they can not be handled. I'm not all that familiar with Gila's so I guess my question is when you say only for an hour each month, is this due to them getting stressed out easily or being dangerous?
