I heard on another site that snakes get really agressive for food if they smell KFC grease! Funny, but I don't think I'll try it. So far, all my snakes are good eaters. ( Achilles is ultra new but ate well for me today. ) Fran only refuses a meal before she first shows any sign of going into shed. That's kinda how I know that she's gearing up for a quick change! I have a couple sand boa's with one of them being a fussy eater as well. The 2 most common ways I can get him to eat is by braining the pinky and putting a little of the brain stuff on the boa's lips. If that does not cause a feeding response you can try using chicken seasoning. As you are thawing the pinky let it get wet, dip it in the seasoning, and get it wet again so it gets the seasoning off, but the smell will stay. Both these methods have ended long runs without eating for him. And if you are feeding live, then don't try the braining. :oP
