Well, I'm not sure what I'll do... it really depends on how well she regains her weight. She recovered pretty well from the last round, although she still has a bit of attitude.

are you going to breed her again this season or give her a rest? i plan to breed mine every other year when the time comes.

Well I know absolutely nothing about incubators.. so I don't know! Hehe, I'm from Minnesota and definitely know what real humidity is.. but in the winter there it gets dry too, just not as dry as CO. I spray my tanks down daily and it seems to keep everyone shedding fine... good luck with going maternal! :)

ah! now i understand the battle you had with that retained shed... i take the southern humidity for granted sometimes. even in winter its easy for me to keep my cages moist. it gets cold in alabama, but never dry :) i am going for maternal this coming season, ive never tried it. what incubator are you doing, assuming you have help and the snakes cooperate? mine is an igloo type.

I think I'll do artificial, depending on if a friend of mine who's experienced with snakes will be able to help me make an incubator.. I'm not sure I trust maternal with Colorado's extreme lack of humidity.

you'll learn alot, thats for sure. my jungleXcoastal pairing was my first real attempt and that was this last season. i got eggs but they went bad after 3 weeks or so. maternal or artificial incubation?

Hehe yep, thats my new girl! She's awesome... I hope Taliesin will be ready. I'm going to try for it.. if not, oh well. :) This'll be my first time breeding snakes period, so it'll be interesting for sure!
