Shed SUCCESSFUL SHED!!! I was afraid that all the remaining slivers that I had still been unable to get off would hinder this new shed cycle...however when I checked on her this morning and picked her up out of her tub, she was clean and crisp and able to completely STICK all by herself. She almost looked a little awkward about it as though she'd half forgotten how to climb up vertical surfaces lol. I'm so relieved that we're passed this horrible thing and can now look forward to watching him/her develop. I did notice she has a few more dal spots now after this newest shed, which I'm less excited about but after all the stress I've put this poor one through with daily saunas and supplements, I'll let these ones slide..... :-P

Shed Started a new shed Saw the beginnings of a new shed cycle...appears to be slipping off of her head nicely. Going to check on her in the morning to see how it's progressing. She still has some spots with dried skin from her last shed that has yet to come off...

Shed Difficult shed (part XVI) Able to remove some slivers from her ventral area, neck, and right front/back left legs. grrrrr
11/30/13
Shed Difficult shed (part XV) Ventral skin loosened and was able to remove a little. Also loosened/removed some from right front foot. Remainder: ventral area, almost the entirety of right front foot and left rear leg, and along the right side of her neck just behind her ear.
11/30/13
Medicated Pedialyte and supplement

Shed Difficult shed (part XIV) Was able to pull off a few slivers around her laterals, neck, and right legs.
11/26/13
Shed Difficult shed (part XIII) bathed. removed some skin from right laterals. dry, loose skin looked more apparent today. quite a bit on belly and legs.

Shed Difficult shed (part XII) Finally removed substantial amount off of her rear right foot. I think I got it all there. Now, 2 more appendages and her lateral/undersides to go... *big sigh*

Medicated Pedialyte
11/22/13
Medicated Pedialyte and supplement
11/22/13
Shed Difficult shed (part X) FINALLY able to remove that annoying piece on her left front foot. Still skin pretty much everywhere else. Also removed a sliver from her back right toes. Feisty today.
11/21/13
Shed Difficult shed (part IX) Reducing baths to once a day (I was starting to get paranoid about opening up an avenue for respiratory issues with all these compounding stressors) More dead skin apparent. Was able to remove some from her right hip and front left foot.
11/21/13
Medicated Pedialyte .1 ml Took it like a champ!
11/20/13
Vet Trip Vet trip $81.23 prescribed a vit A supplement and also a electrolyte/fluid formula. Attempting to increase skin health and fight a possible bacterial issue. Going to continue daily baths.
11/19/13
Shed Difficult shed (part VIII) 2 more baths today. She finally pooped during her morning session. Looks like some skin has loosened, but I was unable to remove any. Vet appointment tomorrow.
11/18/13
Shed Difficult shed (part VII) 2 more baths. Was able to remove some skin from her chin and front left foot. Made a vet appointment for the 20th. Starting to get worried :(
11/17/13
Shed Difficult shed (part VI) Was able to remove a little from her front left foot and also from the right side of her head. Majority of her body still covered in tight, dead skin. Going to call the vet tomorrow for some advice.
11/16/13
Shed Difficult shed (part V) 2 more baths. Was unable to remove any skin, but appears that some skin was loosened.
11/15/13
Shed Difficult shed (part IV) Gave 2 more baths today (actually used a shallow dish of water as opposed to sopping wet paper towels) and saw the skin loosen more than before. Got a little skin away from her ear opening and also was able to pull away a bit from her laterals. Also looks like a chunk that had been under her chin has been rubbed away as well. Still a lot remains...
11/14/13
Shed Difficult shed (part III) gave another bath this morning to no avail. The shed skin is very obvious, but is not very loose at all. Gently swabbing with a Q-tip accomplished nothing. I didn't giver her a second bath today just because I'm afraid of over-stressing her. I plan on continuing with 2/day tomorrow. I hope this loosens up soon...I've never had such an issue with a shed before. Going to give this a couple more days before I start to panic...
11/13/13
Shed Difficult shed (part II) Gave her 2 more baths with Qtip swabbing and was able to remove the skin along the entire length of her tail as well as a strip down her dorsal. I still see quite a bit under her chin, on her laterals and her legs.
11/12/13
Shed Difficult shed (see notes) Started to shed a couple days ago, but looks like most has yet to come off. Commencing 2 - bath + Qtip sessions in the sweat box per day.
