06/06/13	Comments	SIGH		so...she's a few weeks post-shed and it's pretty evident that she is NOT gravid. that "ovulation" I saw several months ago was apparently just really enthusiastic follicle development, and these were absorbed over the spring. while I'm glad she's not eggbound, dead, septic, or any of a host of other outcomes that could have been the result, I AM sad there will be no Fiore xEdgar babies this year. in the fall of '13 I'll pair them again. this will give Edgar more time to grow and put on size anyways, and give her just one more year. hopefully once she finally goes, it will be a nice big clutch.
