06/24/12	Comments	Not good		The two remaining eggs aren't looking too good, and it's only day 30. I am very doubtful that we'll see a single hatchling from this disaster of a clutch. Pele will likely be sold, with full disclosure, this year. She may perform better for someone with different husbandry from my own, as occasionally happens. I just have to dig up her paperwork.
06/08/12	Comments	More bad eggs.		What a disappointment! Two more eggs failed--obviously infertile. Only one of the 2 remaining eggs candles with veins, the other is questionable.
06/03/12	Comments	Bad Eggs		3 Eggs have gone bad--a rather sorry clutch, with only 4 eggs still looking viable. Candling on one of them is not very impressive either.
05/21/12	Laid Eggs	First Clutch for Us		This was Pele's last chance to produce for us--after being in our care for 3 years, she hadn't successfully clutched since we purchased her, and we were going to sell her to let someone else try. However, she has come through for us after all, producing a generous clutch of 10 eggs, although 3 were slugs. We're hoping this is the start of a new trend for her, and she'll continue to produce regularly in the future.
